Code Of Conduct

This code of conduct (COC) is the commitment by BENA personnel and engaged partners (BENA personnel) to serve BENA mission in an ethical and professional manner, to protect the public in general, the client in particular as well as reputation for BENA.

A.BENA personnel shall maintain high standards of personal and professional conduct:

i.  Accept responsibility for their actions.

ii.  Undertake tasks and accept responsibility only if qualified to do so.

iii.  Recognize the importance of continued personal development and education.

iv.  Obey the laws of the country.

v.  Support this code and encourage colleagues and co-workers to act in accordance with this code.

B.BENA personnel shall, in their work:

i.  Provide the necessary leadership in project and operations to promote maximum productivity while striving to minimize costs.

ii.  Protect team and client from physical and mental harms.

iii.  Seek, accept and offer honest criticism of work, and properly credit the contribution of others.

iv.  Assist team, colleagues and co-workers in their professional development.

v.  Avoid any personal, financial or other interests that may hinder the capability or willingness to perform the job duties.

vi.  Treat company’s property, whether material or intangible, with respect and care.

vii.  Foster a well-organized, respectful and collaborative environment.

C.BENA personnel shall, in the relationship with partners and clients:

i.  Act as faithful agents or trustees for clients in professional or business matters.

ii.  Be fair and completely objective in evaluating and recommending subcontractors/suppliers.

iii.  Share only knowledge that is justified to be beneficial for both buyers and sellers.

iv.  Promote the safety, health program in enterprises.

v.  Treat client information including internet account confidentially and privately.

vi.  Assist subcontractors/suppliers on their progression regardless they use BENA services or not.

vii.  Encourage and facilitate subcontractors/suppliers in compliance with country laws.

viii.  Keep client informed of process or term of reference for the work to be carried out.

D.BENA personnel shall, in the relationship with the local community:

i.  Protect the safety, health and welfare of the public, and voice up the abuses affecting the public interest.

ii.  Support to develop local enterprises, in harmony with global community development.
